I have been thinking about how we humans are born artists, and how we all have a part in creating the world we live in. I have my photography. My subjects also create. It is what makes us human. It is with this in mind that I walk out into the world to try and bring some light into it.

While volunteering for a local homeless advocacy group, I quickly realized that the camps created by the housing-challenged were nothing like what I was exposed to through the mainstream news.

I found community, a thing the world can be lacking in this age. I found beauty in the faces of the people as well as in the way they arrange themselves into the landscape. And I found art.

And while some find people themselves in lesser circumstances than others, I still feel like we are all part of a big art project. It is with this in mind that I present to you this project. It’s about people and how they deal with life, sometimes creating art along the way.
